How is the Ugandan education system at Lower levels?All about school systems in Uganda
Uganda encourages Education for all its citizens. The Education system of Uganda is based on 7-4-2, 7 years in primary education, P.1 up to P.7, followed by 4 years in secondary education, then 2 more years in high school. After which the student joins University or a related institution.
With the introduction of Universal Primary Education by the current Government, there are many children going to school and the education for most kids start at age 7 due to different problems which are mostly socio-economic.There are 3 school terms in Uganda and each term lasting about 3 months.
