Thanks for your article. It is unnuatofrte that over the last several years, the travel industry has had to take on terrorism, SARS, tsunamis, bird flu, swine flu, as well as the first ever true global economic collapse. Through everthing the industry has proven to be sturdy, resilient and dynamic, getting new solutions to deal with adversity. There are always fresh challenges and possibilities to which the field must once more adapt and react.

Some International Organizations operating from Uganda are missing on the list; e.g; The Desert Locust Control Organization for Eastern Africa (DLCO-EA), Plot 32/36 Bombo Road , Box 9134 Kampala, Tel: +256 414237861. This is a UN Organisation started in 1962, with Headquarters in Ethiopia. The DLCO-EA controls migratory pests such as locusts, armyworms, tsetse flies and quelea weaver birds.
