Environmentalists, wildlife activists and Entebbe residents have threatened to stage a peaceful demonstration in Entebbe protesting a move by Entebbe Municipal council to de-gazette Kitubulu Forest.
The Environmentalists argue that the council cannot de-gazzette the forest which is home to primates that were once common around the lake shores but are now becoming extinct.
Mr Paul Semboga an environment activist said the forest is a main tourism attraction in the area that earns government some revenue while playing a good environment role.
