Car Spares in Uganda: Chinese Factory to be Constructed

A factory worth more than $3 million headed by a Chinese auto firm, the Union International Automobile Parts will supply brand new spare  parts to Ugandans who have always had to get them from United Arab Emirates and Japan.The company trading under the OITA brand had already invested about Shs640 million to stock their first outlet on Ben Kiwanuka Street in Kampala.
 

He said the company was in the process of acquiring land and sorting out other investment formalities to kick start the project that should be completed in the next two years.
Spare parts dealers are optimistic that the factory will bolster their businesses .
