President Yoweri Museveni has instructed police and local leaders to deal with people who keep children at home and deny them an opportunity to acquire education.
In his speech delivered by the Minister for the presidency, Dr Beatrice Wabudeya at the national function to mark the day of the African Child held in Luwero on Monday.

Mr Museveni said, All our Children of school going age must be at school and no where else. I want to instruct police and all local leaders to deal with people who keep our children at home and deny them an opportunity to acquire education.
