the executive director of the Uganda Investment Authority (UIA) Dr. Maggie Kigozi has said that Uganda needs more investors in the transport sector.
Kigozi said this during a certificates giving ceremony of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Uganda at Hotel Africana.
She said the economy can easily grow when the transport sector is good because it is the backbone of every movement including the goods.
Giving opportunities to investors to invest in the transport sector would boost it because the Government and the public would benefit equally.
The founder of the institute, Prof. Emurwon Opolot, said the transport sector needs more professional to enable it develop.
