Uganda, Rwanda and DRC Congo, all having the endangered gorilla have signed an agreement on Trans-boundary Tourism Cooperation.
The countries have also nominated the Virunga Massive as aa world heritage fund to be considered for funding by the UN. Education Science and Cultural Organisations.
The three areas considered for the project are Mgahinga National Park in Uganda, Volcano Park in Rwanda and the Virunga National Park in Congo.
