Two white rhinos from the USA arrived in the country today at 8. 55p.m aboard a chartered flight, Martin Air.
The Executive Director of the Uganda Wildlife Authority, Mr Moses Mapesa said that the two rhinos; male and female, are a donation from Disney Park Zoo in Florida USA.
Rhinos became extinct in the 1970s and 1980s due to civil wars and poaching.
The two rhinos will bring the total number of rhinos there to six. The rhinos will be transported to Zziwa Ranchers in Nakitoma, Nakasongola district on arrival at Entebbe International Airport.
