Two more Acres of land allocated to Hotel Investor

Kampala City Council (KCC) has allocated two more acres of land to Khadar Investment for construction of a 150 room five-star hotel worth $18m (sh36b). Construction is ongoing on the earlier acquired four other acres. The additional two acres are located along Yusuf Lule road in Kampala.

The Government directed that the developer be allocated an additional two acres for development of the hotel.

The spokesman of Khadar Investment’, Job Kiwanuka said the hotel, will be called “Oasis Hotel” and will have a coffee bar, entertainment centre, three presidential suites and a supermarket.

“Since we are targeting the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, work is expected to be completed by July,” Kiwanuka said.
