KLM Airline Starts direct route to Uganda

FROM November, KLM Royal Dutch Airline will start direct flights from Entebbe to Amsterdam and back, a statement issued by managment has said.
The statement released recently said there would be flights on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
�The decision was prompted by Uganda�s booming economy, stability and growing demand for passenger services,� the statement said.
The new route offers passengers a unique service within the Air France-KLM network. This does not affect the code sharing arrangment the airline has been enjoying with Kenya airways for a long time!
�The new flights, in combination with code-sharing services offered by KLM and Kenya Airways, will further strengthen Air France-KLM�s presence in Africa,� it said.This new development has greatly been greeted by travel agents with alot of anxiety.Tours operators in Uganda have said that this will increase the volume of travellers to Uganda especially from Netherlands.”Travellers are confortable when there is a direct flight”.The Tours Consultant of Regional Safari Network said.
