Transport minister John Nasasira has said that the contract to tarmac the Kabale, Kisoro, Bunagana Kyanika road will be signed in September.
Nasasira said the delay in tarmacking the road was due to additional costs that were not included by those who evaluated the cost of production.
He said after consultation and comparing costs with similar roads in other countries, the Government realised the error.
