Preparations to develop the Information and Communication Technology sector ahead of the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting has started.
The Minister for Communication and Information Technology Dr. Ham-Mukasa Mulira asked major Operators and Information Service Providers to start planning for the potential requirements of the Commonwealth Summit.
Dr. Ham Mulira while meeting Major Operators and Information Service Providers said big conferences such as the Commonwealth Summit come with high expectations and demands on the ICT sector.
Uganda is to host the prestigious Commonwealth summit in November 2007.
