CHOGM Cultural Village to be Constructed at Uganda Museum

A modern cultural village presenting the modern architectural heritage of the cultural societies in Uganda is set to be constructed ahead of CHOGM 2007.
The village will later become a tourist attraction as permanent artists will be occupying the area to boost the Tourism economy of Uganda.
Dr Ephraim Kamuhangire the commissioner for Museums and Monuments said that cultural exbitions will also involve those in our hidden homes and ritual practises.
Officials from the MTTI have been sent to various districts to identify artists who will exhibit in the CHOGM 2007 Uganda, come November.
