CHINESE INVESTORS SOUGHT

The Government needs Chinese investors to put money in key tourism areas to enable the industry grow fast, the tourism state minister has said.

Jovino Akaki said this while meeting a nine-man delegation of members of the China-Africa Business Council (CABC) in Kampala recently.

The team, which is here to explore potential investment areas where CABC members can be helped to inject money, met ministers Daudi Migereko, Jennifer Namuyangu and Akaki who briefed them about the investment climate.

Last year, the two countries signed a memorandum.
