In the latest CHOGM developments, Government of Uganda has given Sudir Ruparelia 8 billion to construct 59 modern
presidential suites at the Speke Resort Munyonyo.
Government entered into a joint deal with Meera Investments to construct a modern village that will accommodate the heads of
state during the CHOGM 2007 meet.
Uganda is to host the Common Wealth Heads of Government Meeting next year in November.
