How is blood donated and safely transfused in Uganda;Blood banks i Uganda?

Uganda blood bank is a place where blood is stored as well as preserved for future use. Hospitals have blood a laboratory where testing and giving of blood is done so as to get rid of transfusion. Before administering blood to a patient, they must first discover the blood type to enable them give the best blood to the right person. Uganda Red Cross carries out this activity of calling upon people to donate blood. It’s done in all communities including schools.There is a saying that says donate blood and save life.

    We have a students conference of over 4.000 participants at Omega Healing Centre Namasuba. The conference is on 9th March 2013 and we hope to donate blood. Whom do we address the letter to at Nakasero blood bank?
