Gorilla 3 Days

Day 1 Kampala to Bwindi
The whole day morning to evening will involve travelling to Bwindi which is in the south western part of Uganda. The journey towards Bwindi is equally rewarding. Along the way, a stop over at the Equator and stand in the two hemispheres at the sametime! Time for the camera! The adventure has just started, drive through the Savannah grasslands and the banana plantations and the Ankole cattle with long curving horns. The Kigesi highlands with terraces and mountain scenery drive will be scenical! Arrive in evening , dinner and overnight at a lodge.

Day 2 Bwindi
An early wake up will ensure that you enter the forest at dawn, listen to the creatures chanting their good morning gestures as you enjoy the freshness of the forest. Start your trek in such of the endangered specie, the mountain gorillas. Expect to see other primates like the chimpanzee, the black and while colobus monkey and the red tailed monkey. When you meet the gorillas, one hour will be enough as you notice them play with the young and doing other things that humans do ! Yes almost everything you do! Stop imagining!!
End of gorilla trek.

Day 4: Bwindi - Lake Bunyonyi - Mbarara
Take on the route to lake Bunyonyi, the lake of a variety of birds. A canoe ride on the beautiful narrow lake surrounded by green hills will be very exciting!

Day 5: Mbarara - Kampala
Return to Kampala. Afternoon tour of Kampala city and do some shopping as you prepare for your return journey.

Mountain gorillas are the major attraction in Uganda, Rwanda and Congo. The only remaining population of these endangered apes needs to be conserved by you and me. All policies in these 3 destinations encourage conservation of wildlife in the parks and environmental protection of the natural resources.
