Special Gorilla Safaris 3 Days

3 days gorilla special safari Uganda. You will visit the mountain gorillas in the Bwindi impenetrable forest located in the South western part of Uganda. Gorilla tracking can be a strenous activity, persons below the age 15 are not allowed to trek the gorillas. Remember to book your permit with a tour operator at least 3 months before your trekking date. a permit for your gorilla tour will cost you USD 500 per person.

Day 1
Early morning departure, whole journey is 10 hours drive. We reach Kabale in the western part of Uganda but via Masaka and Mbarara. This will be followed by the 95kms of the beautiful rolling hills arriving in Kisoro by evening. There are so many attractions to see along the way. however stop overs will be few so as to avoid delays of reaching in time.

Day 2. After a very early breakfast, we proceed to the office head quarters with our gorilla permits! The D-day has come, get ready for the exciting trekking in Bwindi forest. Consider 4 to 10 hours depending on where the gorilla family is. They quite a few families located in this 200 sq miles forest. on your trekking, you will see other attractions along the way, such will include the Chimpanzees, forest birds and so much more. Retire late evening to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3, after breakfast, we hit the road, back to Kampala. On our way back, various stopovers are ok as there may be no need to hurry depending on your flight schedule. Take sometime to buy soveniers and other interesting crafts that you can find in Uganda.

Mountain gorillas are the major attraction in Uganda, Rwanda and Congo. The only remaining population of these endangered apes needs to be conserved by you and me. All policies in these 3 destinations encourage conservation of wildlife in the parks and environmental protection of the natural resources.
