Uganda is a truly beautiful country with its Mountains, Rivers,
Rolling Hills and luxurious Forests and I came to understand why
it is referred to as "The Switzerland of Africa" when
we passed verdant valleys and hillsides full of crops, fruit and
vegetables together with tea and coffee plantations.
The Ugandan people (like all Africans I have found) are extremely
friendly and welcoming and unhesitatingly share what meagre possessions
and resources they have. We were a continual source of curiosity
being "Muzungus" (a respectful swahili term for 'White
