Rugigana Valley Campsite
The campsite
is situated at 200m from the National Parks office in Kisoro town along
Bunagana road, near the Travelers Rest Hotel. Accommodation is offered in form
of camping space only at a pocket-friendly fee.
Rugigana
campsite has a relatively low carrying capacity with facilities like a
restaurant and bar, communal pit latrine and showers.
The campsite
is strategically located to enable you proceed to Mgahinga national park for
Gorilla tracking and return for dinner and overnight. Management can arrange
transport for guests upon request.
Tourist activities include; village walks
-get a chance to interact with typical pygmies;pig Roasting, watching
traditional dancers perform dramatically at the campsite. You will get
a memorable experience!
