Tours and Travelling Made easy!

Your safari commences in Maun – gateway to the famous wildlife areas of Botswana. Upon arrival you will be met and assisted with formalities and transfer to a charter flight to the North Gate (Khwai) region of Moremi Wildlife Reserve.

The Moremi is located on the edge of the Okavango Delta and packs acacia forests, wetlands, lagoons and swamps into 1,800 sq km (700 sq miles). As varied as the terrain is, so is the game. From lion and leopard to elephant and buffalo right down to the bird-life, even the least inspired ornithologists will be amazed.

Spend 2 nights at a luxury tented camp. Accommodation is in fully serviced East Africa-style safari tents, each equipped with comfortable linen-clad camp beds, teak furniture and sophisticated accessories, as well as an en suite bathroom with flush toilet and hot bucket showers. Seven staff members provide a fully serviced experience for seven guests, guaranteeing warm, attentive and personalised service.

After breakfast, depart by charter aircraft to Sandibe Safari Lodge where you will spend two nights. Sandibe’s architecture evokes the earthy, organic, living forest and each of the eight deluxe thatched cottages is positioned to capture the presence of special trees and natural features such as a vast termite mound, a river inlet or an age-old elephant crossing point. The cottages have en suite bathrooms, open showers and private decks.

The lounge and dining areas are in the heart of the camp, tucked under a soaring canopy of trees. Shaded decks slung with hammocks afford views across the watery labyrinth and grassland. Sandibe has a shaded swimming pool and well-stocked curio shop. Explore the Okavango Delta and its exciting array of bird and animal species by canoe, powerboat, overland game-drives, and nature walks guided by the resident naturalist.

After an early morning game-drive and breakfast, proceed by light aircraft to Kasane. Travel overland to the Serondela area in the north of Chobe National Park where the camp staff will welcome you. Enjoy a boat cruise on the Chobe River, and spend two nights in a luxury tented camp.

Situated in the northeast of Botswana, Chobe is 11,000 sq km (4,500 sq miles) and combines river flood plains with open pans and riverine woodlands. The best time to visit is from May to September when you will be thrilled by the huge herds of elephant and buffalo that have made the park famous. In addition there are big numbers of hippopotamus, giraffe, kudu and impala and more than 250 species of birds have been recorded.

Crossing the border to Zimbabwe, the safari proceeds to MCatetsi Water Lodge for a one night stay. The Lodge rambles along 15 kms of Zambezi river frontage and accommodates guests in spacious, air-conditioned suites of natural wood and slate under thatch – each has a private plunge pool and spectacular views out over the river.

Enjoy a delicious lunch before departing on an exciting afternoon game-drive exploring the ancient and historical river course. In the evening a farewell bush dinner is held under the stars of the Southern skies (weather permitting).

After breakfast, transfer to Victoria Falls town for a guided tour of the Falls before your safari terminates. A transfer from Victoria Falls to the Victoria Falls Airport is included.

The Victoria Falls or Mosi oa Tunya – “the Smoke that Thunders”, are truly a magnificent sight for here the mighty Zambezi River encounters a narrow gorge and falls 100 metres in a shower of drenching spray and deafening noise. The Victoria Falls rise and fall considerably with changes in the Zambezi River level, so visits at different times of the year can be dramatically different.
