 Uganda Volunteer Trips: Day 1 Arrival to Entebbe:

I will welcome you on your arrival at Entebbe International Airport. It is best if you arrive in the morning or early afternoon. You will set off to Jinja driving through the verdant Mabira forest, tea plantations and sugar plantations. Following a break at Mabira you will proceed to Jinja driving over Owen falls dam where Uganda generates electricity from River Nile. You will head to your accommodation at the Uganda volunteer trips and if possible go to Speak resort Hotel to enjoy a swim and relax. Dine and overnight at in jinja.

 

Day 2 Orphanage/School/Suubi Clinic:

Following breakfast, you will head to your site of the Uganda volunteer trips project to have a brief introduction with the project staff and later have a guided tour of the community. Following the initial prologue, you will get a chance to be part of the work involved in the project right away.  Some of you will head to the local school and other to Suubi Medical Clinic, while others to the orphanage. Go back to Dine at accommodation of your Uganda mission trip

 

Day 3 Orphanage/School/Suubi Clinic:

Spend the entire day working at your project, and there you will have a packed lunch.  Return to Dine and slumber at accommodation of your Uganda mission trip

Day 4 Orphanage/School/Suubi Clinic:

Spend the entire day working at your project, and there you will have a packed lunch.  Return to Dine and slumber at accommodation of your Uganda mission trip

Day 5 Orphanage/School /Suubi Clinic:

Spend the entire day working at your project, and there you will have a packed lunch.  Return to Dine and slumber at accommodation of your Uganda mission trip

Day 6 Orphanage/School /Busu Village:

 

Spend the entire day working at your project, and there you will have a packed lunch.  Return to Dine and slumber at accommodation of your Uganda mission trip

Day 7 Orphanage/ School /Suubi Clinic:

Spend half of the day working on your project, and there you will have a packed lunch.  you will bid farewell to people at your Mission project, and after that  drive to the capital Kampala in case your mission is conducted outside the capital.  Return to Dine and slumber at accommodation of your Uganda mission trip

Day 8 Church/ relaxing day:

Following breakfast, go for an early service at church.  After Church, you will return to your accommodation where you will have Lunch.  After lunch head to the Ndere centre for a theatre performances that will include dances plus songs originating from different cultures in Uganda.  Have a delicious barbeque and enjoy a relaxed cool evening and then return to Uganda volunteer trips accommodation.

Day 9 Murchison Falls National Park:

Depart from Kampala, to Murchison Falls National Park located in northwestern Uganda. Along the way, you will marvel at various people carrying out their daily activities from which they earn a living. Have lunch en route, and later arrive in evening for a short game drive. Check into your accommodation where you will dine. Slumber at Red Chili

 

Day 10 Uganda Volunteer Trips Game drive:

Game drive in the early morning, to see various predators. Additional animals you will see at Murchison falls are kobs, warthogs, giraffes, elephants and hyenas, among many others.  The game drive will go for at least 4 hours; you can opt to pack and have your breakfast in the pack or have it back at the lodge after the game drive.  Have lunch at the lodge after which you will set out on an exciting launch cruise at 2:00 pm which begins at Paraa Lodge all the way to the bottom of beautiful Murchison falls; the ride take 2 to 3 hours. You will be able to see the giant Nile crocodiles, various bird species in addition to Hippos.  Dine and slumber at your place of accommodation

Day 11 Back to Kampala:

Today, you will enjoy breakfast at leisure before you depart for Kampala. You will drive to the peak of the stunning falls as you leave the park. Have lunch on your way to the capital and later arrive in the evening.

Day 12 Kampala city Shopping:

you will have an opportunity to rest, and later go to the city to shops some crafts that you will take back for those you left at home as souvenirs. Spend the afternoon at leisure perhaps at Munyonyo resort and later return to the Uganda mission trips accommodation for the overnight.

Day 13: Departure:

Departure: Today, you will bid farewell to the Ugandan staff and later be transferred to the Airport for your departure flight.

 

 

The Uganda Volunteer Trips Fee Includes:

• Accommodation

• Guide or Driver

• All entry fees

• All breakfasts

• All meals plus a beverage, as stated in itinerary

• Ground transport to the locations on your  itinerary

• Bottled water

• Supplies for the project (separate fee)

• 3 day Safari

• Entrance and meal at the African Music show

 

The Cost Excludes:

• Flights

• Any additional personal items

• extra snacks, drinks as well as beverages

• Any leisure activities or additional meals not mentioned on the itinerary

• Tips and gratuities

• Visa or Passport

• Vaccinations and Jabs

• Personal insurance

• Meals on arrival as well as departure dates not recognized at the moment, basing on your time of the flight. (You will pay for your lunches on these days)

NOTES:

A deposit of 20 percent requirements to be paid after confirming so that we use this deposit to make all necessary reservations. Full payment must be done NO LATER than 4 weeks before the arrive date.
